Assignment
Drawing from observation we will draw a flower that fills the page. This will give us time to experiment with color and add detail to the petals.
Select a sheet of paper, this can be any size you choose.
Draw the center of your flower by observing a picture (or a real flower if you have one.
Study the flower, count the petals. Observe the shape of each petal.
Draw the flower so that each petal touches the edge of the page.
Look at the colors of the petals, what variations do you see in the colors of the petals. Do you see darks and lights? Are there several colors on one petal? Using whatever medium you have color your flower.
