Teacher Example

  1. Discussion of favorite foods is key here. talk about what makes them delicious (use of 5 sences descriptor words) Where did they learn about this food. Who or where was this food introduced to them. Are there any traditions that revolve around this food? Have you ever made/cooked this food?

  2. Make a list of favorite foods (at least 3), and any condiments you want to add.

  3. First draw the burger bun at the bottom of the page in pencil.

  4. After deciding what order to put the food in: most to least favorite, messiest to neatest, color order etc. pencil them in. By using pencil one can erase were drips or overlapping can occur.

  5. Color in the sandwich with whatever media is available: colored pencil, marker, crayon, paint...

  6. Name your sandwich. Try to offer us not only a clue to its ingredients, but how eating all this delicious food makes you feel.
